“Everyone has something to give and every act of generosity counts.”
From 7 to 8 June 2022, a GivingTuesday European leaders meeting took place in Brussels, Belgium, gathering no less than 32 participants representing non-profit organisations from all around Europe. The discussions were mainly focused on the practical definition of the notion of “generosity” and the development of a European Hub of GivingTuesday.
Transnational Giving Europe had the opportunity to be one of the guests attending this major event. During the second day of the meeting, Ludwig Forrest, from King Baudouin Foundation, TGE’s Belgian partner, has presented to the distinguished audience the TGE Network and its potential to support the generosity sector around Europe by facilitating tax-efficient cross-border donations.
Moreover, the event welcomed as special guest, Ms Victoria Vrana from Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, who strongly supports the GivingTuesday movement and its projects.
