MINIMUM DONATION AMOUNT: none
DONATION TRANSFER TIME: For gifts made online via the Transnational Giving Europe’s platform or by wire transfer, it takes 4 weeks, when amount donated is above 1,000€, or 3 months, when aggregated amount of donations made by same donor is less than 1,000€. For gifts made by cheque, it takes about 4 weeks.
Note: the cashing of cheques is a lengthier procedure.
EMISSION OF FISCAL RECEIPTS: For every donation above 5€ , a receipt is sent by post or email. For monthly withdrawals below 5€, the fiscal receipt is sent once a year. For gifts made by cheque and/or wire transfer, it will take 3 weeks by post from the reception of the gift. For gifts made online, the fiscal receipt is available within 2 weeks.
Note: French donors must have communicated their emails when making their online donations.
REPORTING TO BENEFICIARIES: monthly, on demand.
OTHER REMARKS: “Fondation de France” transfers the gift directly to the bank account of the foreign organization.
