IMPORTANT UPDATE

The TGE Network would like to inform you about our new Dutch Partner.

Starting from March 2017, “Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds” will take care of TGE donations, in the Netherlands and will continue the excellent work carried on by Oranje Fonds, our former Dutch Partner.

Unfortunately, due to recent jurisdiction, the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds needs to negotiate with the Dutch fiscal authorities first, before transmitting donations from Dutch donors to foreign beneficiaries.

In a recent judgement The Dutch High Council dictates that a foreign beneficiary has to obtain a ANBI status (= a public-benefit organization) in the Netherlands. It is only than that donations are fully deductible for the Dutch donor. The fact that the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds – as an intermediary – is authenticated with the ANBI status, is not legally justified anymore for transmitting gifts. The Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds will consult the fiscal authorities as soon as possible, to get approval for acting as an intermediary for donations. As a consequence, outgoing gifts from Dutch donors to foreign organizations are not possible at the moment.

In the meantime, note that the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds is willing to facilitate foreign donations for Dutch beneficiaries!

The Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds highly regrets that it cannot be a full TGE member at this moment and kindly asks for your understanding.
